This often gives the imbalanced sense of a lead instrument playing with a backing band. I deplore the trend towards mixing vocals up front in the mix, and simply turn off such music as egoistic. Listen to Led Zeppelin mixes - there is no single focal point; every instrument is important.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5913752433926766420.post-9532759502110058432012-04-14T19:54:35.517-07:002012-04-14T19:54:35.517-07:00Ableton Live has automation, and can remember *eve...Ableton Live has automation, and can remember *everything* you do! When you go into record (top transport, not "record" on individual tracks or clips) any fader move, parameter change, clip launch, etc. gets recorded. I'm on an older version, but I imagine that still holds true.lightsweetcrudehttp://lightsweetcrude.bandcamp.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5913752433926766420.post-51182389415653588092012-04-14T11:45:33.644-07:002012-04-14T11:45:33.644-07:00Thanks for the reply! Thanks for the reply!Poloniumnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5913752433926766420.post-43323042496462648202012-04-12T11:04:10.165-07:002012-04-12T11:04:10.165-07:00Thanks for this. In other words, it will remember your fader moves, track mutes, EQ and aux send moves, panning, and plugin parameters.

I'm not that familiar with Live so I can't tell you about it, but I'm sure it has a wide variety of automation features.Bobby Owsinskihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05885584132164492190noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5913752433926766420.post-86044818723605339342012-04-11T20:45:04.637-07:002012-04-11T20:45:04.637-07:00Great post, thanks for making it.
