The problem was that they never interviewed me in the first place; they just misquoted my blog post. I guess they didn't read it very closely.Bobby Owsinskihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05885584132164492190noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5913752433926766420.post-56049676007941192892012-03-03T11:17:09.713-08:002012-03-03T11:17:09.713-08:00Hey there. This article
http://news.techeye.net/software/apples-hi-res-music-files-arent
states that you think SoundCheck makes things "less good." Are you sure you aren't getting confused by Apple's branding for the high-quality songs now sold on the iTunes Store, which are still ordinary AAC files? If not, can you provide more information on this heretofore unheard of format Apple is working on?mbta3247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5913752433926766420.post-43648294948533423412012-02-23T11:45:39.734-08:002012-02-23T11:45:39.734-08:00I'm hoping this is a trend towards less hyper-...I'm hoping this is a trend towards less hyper-compressed music!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14642718324909106707noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5913752433926766420.post-47516832631125914512012-02-23T08:41:52.791-08:002012-02-23T08:41:52.791-08:00Great info, thank you.

They talk about iTunes Plus, but this only means the audio is compressed to 256k instead of 128k with copy protection. A lossless format, let alone a high-res lossless format, would be great news and I would be a big customer for that.synthetichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06250942045588541514noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5913752433926766420.post-11122654786165478292012-02-23T05:26:53.790-08:002012-02-23T05:26:53.790-08:00This is great. I'd love to see everything remastered to 24 bit but that's a ways off unfortunately.sculleynoreply@blogger.com
